Softly She Whispered
Her gentle
laughter
her warm
soft lips.
When we are
together
nothing better than this.
Moon glow
and halo
and shadows
of dreams.
Where ever I
go
you are with
me it seems.
Her eyes
glimmer
like the
stars up above.
Softly she
whispered
Come be my
love.

Dark, Dark
Night
Night comes,
fog too, candle burns,
Whispers
call, haunted and drawn
Dark, dark
night
Touch of
madness roams the streets.
Thru shadows
of sadness.
Dark, dark
night, I see.
Sanity slips
and falls,
Too close to
the night
To see it
all
Dark, dark
night
Too real to
feel anything,
Searching
for something,
I can’t
explain
It’s not a
dream,
If it comes
true.
Dark, dark
night
Touch of madness
roams the streets.
Thru shadows
of sadness.
Dark, dark night,
to me.

The Haunted
Lighthouse
The light
house was empty
on a dark
stormy night.
Gales of
blustery
cold we tried to fight.
Among the
shadows
we
encounter.
We never
know
who is the
intruder.
The light
house is haunted
That ghost
on the coast.
Remains undaunted
a permanent
host.
The light
house was empty
Or was it?
Standing as
signal to sea
For sailors
in distress.

Moonlight
Harbor
Here I am
again
Middle of
the night
Loneliness
is a strain.
I’m tired of
the fight.
I find
myself walking
staring at
the moon.
My inner
self talking
at any
opportune.
The harbour is
solacing
in a
tranquil effect.
Starlight in
consoling
as my
thoughts I collect.
Love is
missing here
and never
had before.
The only
thing sincere
Moonlight Harbor
Moonlight Harbor.
